2 Hours ago I was at work and fell. I was walking real fast in the rain and slipped and fell. My butt hit the concrete first, but the back of my head hit the concrete next. It was a hard hit and my ballcap even flew off. I got up and laughed it off. I filed a report and did all the m,andatory stuff. I insisted that I was fine and worked the final 1.5 hours. HOWEVER, now I feel real nauseated, and have pain in my head, and I feel real tired. Do I have a concussion? Should I go to the ER or wait until later in the morning to see how I feel? Any advice from medical people or people with previous concussions would be helpfull.

  1. I agree with metal! You might also go to sleep and never wake up! Go get checked please.

  2. Yes, you need to see the Dr. ASAP.  A hit like that can actually cause swelling of the brain, making you nauseated, tired, and even causing confusion and disorientation.  A catscan is a must to rule out any brain injury.
