  1. I believe you just pulled your muscle. If it's a hernia, you should be able to lay down and feeling the area that hurts, feel a lump or knot. So if you can't find anything, start applying some moist heat to the muscle in the leg. Take a towel, soak it with hot water, ring it out and apply it to the upper inside leg. Do this until the skin begins to turn slightly red. Stop and massage the area and apply some Aspercreme Cream, if not allergic to aspirin. Do this at least twice a day. You should start feeling better in no time. Best of luck to you sir.

  2. Any pain in your testicles needs to be checked out by a doctor URGENTLY.  A hernia is a distinct possibility, so don't waste any more time hoping for an easy answer on Yahoo.

  3. Hey mate.

I'm just a 2rd year med student so please don't take the following as medical advice

Okay from my current knowledge 3 things come to mind:

    1. You may have a hernia. Depending on your age (the older you are the more likely you may have it). What I suggest is take your index finger and feel your inguinal ligament (thats that line that runs down from your pelvis down to the beginning of your p***s - the one that really muscular guys have). If you have a hernia you should be able to feel it. Another then is take your index finger and place in on your t******e from the bottom. Then slow push up until you feel your body again if you cough slightly you should be able to feel your gut pushing against your finger, i.e. your hernia.

I suggest you have doctor do this. In most cases surgery is needed to correct a hernia. Because a hernia is characteristic  by your "gut" being forced into your inguinal ligament which is naturally used as a passage way for your spermatic cord (for sperm entering the body during ejaculation). This is a tight space. Consequently if your gut is being forced into this tight area it may begin die off due to a lack of blood supply (necrosis). However, this occurs in rare circumstances.

    2. You may have torn a groin muscle. In which case plenty of rest and massage is needed.

    3. This is unlikely considering your description of the event - You may have twisted your t******e. The t******e is held in the s*****m by a cord like "rope". Sometimes this cord may twist around its self. This is called torsion of the t******e. It is extremely painful. In this case surgery is required. A lack of treatment will mean that no blood reaches the testicular and it will undergo necrosis. This is the death of the cells and tissues due to a lack of blood supply.

In any case I suggest you see your medical professional.

    I hope I helped.
