Question:

Do I have bad hygiene and infection?

I just recently was able to retract my f******n all the way at age 16. However I have not been able to wash underneath the whole time until now. I saw chunks of smegma too. Does that mean I had bad hygiene all along? I couldn't pull it all the way before until now. Do I have an infection?

Also, it got stuck behind the head and it took a while to slide it back up with difficulty.

  1. The smegma is normal without regular washing. It doesn't mean there is an infection. Just make sure to wash it good from here on. Your skin will continue to stretch and you probably won't have a problem with it getting stuck. If it does, for some reason, see your doctor.

  2. No, your not infected. Lol. If you are worried about the chunks, wash it a little more frequently. There is no way to avoid this, it's a natural build up. The fact that you were not able to slide it back up just means that it is hasn't loosened up yet...nothing more, nothing less.

Every guy has these concerns, and the best thing you can do is ask questions. Which you are. Every time something new happens, instinct tells you that something is wrong. With a little research, you will realize that everything that is happening to you is completely normal. Don't worry too much about your manhood. It will be going through a lot of changes in the next few years, some that you were told about, and some that you weren't.

  3. Lisa Kay doesn't know what she's talking about so don't listen to her.  No educated mother would force her baby's f******n back!

As (almost) everyone else said, smegma is normal (women have it too) and doesn't mean you have an infection.

  4. Yes you have to pull it tight and wash it. Even babies p***s has to  be pulled down(retracted)and washed. I really dont understand what your talking about when you say it hasnt retracted until now....it should have always been able to retract..They teach mothers to do that to babies...So wash it dude! And dont worry bout it, we live we learn.

  5. Nah every boy/man/guy gets it when his p***s skin shows. I don't think its dangerous or anything cause everyone has it unless you got a circumcision. Just clean it off and leave it alone.

  6. No mate. It's not so usual for your f******n to be gummed up with smegma.  You may not realise that it is like that when you are born.

Just wash that smegma away.. you might need to use some olive oil or something to soften it up and you might have to wash it off for a few days until it is all gone.. but then you just wash your glans like anybody else does.. that is.. every day.

Your f******n is also a little tight.. you can stretch your f******n every day in the shower under warm water to provide more movement, This takes a bit of time, a month or two... but you know... what's the rush.

  7. It's probably just a bit tight. Don't leave it behind the head for a long time so it doesn't get stuck. I recommend now you can retract it, you pull it back every day and rinse under there. The smegma build-up shouldn't take too long to go if it hasn't already, though you might have to soak it. Daily rinsing should keep it away and pulling it back more should make it easier.

  8. I believe all this is perfectly normal.  No, I don't think you have an infection.  Just remember to bathe well daily to help keep things the way they should be.

  9. Perfectly normal for a guy your age.  Just sit in a bath of warm water and gently retract it then work the cheesy buildup off gently between your fingers or with a very mild soap.

It won't be long before you will easily be able to retract it.

As for the advice above that your Mother should have done this when you were a baby -- definitely not.  The skin of your f******n was (until recently)  adhering to the skin on the head of you p***s.  As you went into puberty, the skin of the f******n started to detach naturally from the head as your p***s was growing so you could reach manhood.

Relax.  It may take a few days to get it completely cleaned up.  If it does not, talk to the Dad about this problem.  Just remember from now on, you will need to pull it back when you wash and keep it free of any cheesy buildup.  It's called hygiene and it's what all guys do (or should do) as part of being a man.

  10. Go see your doctor....

I do think you have an infection hunny.

    Wash wish warm water..

Take a long bath in warm salt water...

Go to the store and buy bath salts to help clean skin..

I know what your going through.. .

Your doctor would give you ointment or a pill.
