Question:

Do I have enough APs to get into a good college?

I go to a very small catholic school (last years graduating class was about 50) and I never really realized until it was too late that its lack of AP classes might be an impediment. I've been in honors classes since freshmen year but I haven't take much above that. For junior year I took AP U.S. History and a college Criminal Justice Class. For senior year I'm taking AP English, a college Calculus class in the fall, and another unspecified class in the spring.

I have ok SAT scores (1970 on the first try), haven't taken the SAT Subject Tests, and I'm involved in a lot of clubs.

Is the fact that 't have many college level classes on my transcript going to make it hard to get into good schools? (I know I probably won't get into any ivies)

  1. It shouldn't be a problem especially if you have a lot of extracurriculers, so I wouldn't worry about it! Especially with Calculus (good luck, hardest class or my life).
