OK, I really don't want to have ocd, but my friend said I had it.She was poking my folder and I kept straightening it back,I didn't think a thing of it until she said something

Are these symptoms of ocd?

I like things how and where I left them.

If my cursive isn't perfect I erase and redo it.

I straighten things.

I get angry when people move my things.

Little things get on my nerves that no one else seams to care about.

I over think every thing.

And I know I have a temper problem so you don't have to tell me that.

But is there anything I can do if I do have ocd?

  1. It doesn't sound like you are either obsessive or compulsive.

You sound like you're just someone who likes to have everything neat and ordered.

A person with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) continually re-does things, over and over and over again because they never think they are done perfectly.

Example: brushing your teeth until your gums bleed and you eventually wear off the tooth enamel.

    Symptoms -

Obsessions or compulsions that cause significant distress or interfere with everyday life

Obsessions or compulsions are not due to medical illness or drug use

The person usually recognizes that the behavior is excessive or unreasonable.

  2. People with OCD have perfect grammar, you obviously don't have this disorder because you used excessive question marks in your title and you capitalized the o and the k in ok.

While you do show some signs of this disorder, you may have a very mild case of OCD, but then again, who doesn't?

  3. No it sounds like you are ME! You are probably just a perfectionist. If you truly did have it though or think you really might you have to go see a psychologist/psychiatrist. They make meds for it.
