I am currently 6'1, 145 pounds. I did running for around 5 years when I was younger and did very well at it. When I was around 14 I stopped all my running and basically became very lazy until i turned 20. I decided to try running again and trained for around 1 month. I decided I wanted to see if I could run fast still and measured out 60 Meters in a park. (Longest flat part available to me)On all three attempts I ran it at 7 seconds and used a stop watch.My question is if I start doing some real training and try get on a diet plan do you think I could shave some time off and do good at 100 meters?I want to try do some running competitions if there are any just for fun...what kinda times would I have to run for those to be allowed to compete?
