***My makeup isn't perfect in these. Most of them are just every day photos, not glamor shots.***

  1. I think you could pull it off!  You have a very pretty face, although I haven't seen your body...  It's a tough industry, I hear, you need a little luck, but I definitely think you're attractive enough to pull it off!

  2. I'm not in the business, but yes, I do think you may have "the look."  You are the first person I've seen on here (looking to be a model) where I've felt that come through.  It comes through even in these snap shots.

    Good luck to you.

EDIT: Yes, I agree with RC.  It is that third picture that shows the potential the most.

  3. You want to look as natural as you can when being judge in the beginning. It's what the industry is looking for and what they could do with you. If you have a glamorous make up, then it might only limit you to one look. The only good photo you have is the 3rd one. It could be better, but best out of the four. You have that nice bright eyes, good lip shapes,  shows your long neck (kind of like a ballerina), it shows the best proportion of your head.  The first one, makes your chin too long. The second one, can't judge you because of the effects covering how you really look. Fourth one to much of a side profile, and we see a lot of flaws on your face.

You are a bit photogenic, but in time you could be really photogenic (an assets if you are a model). But we can only judge you with your face.  Go to a hair stylists and have your style of your hair complement the shape of your face. Start taking care of your facial skin.

You do have that Lisa Minelli looks - might give you more of an advantage.

  4. Difficult to tell from your photos what your true "look" is, but I'd say that you most likely have what it takes on at least some avenue of the industry.  You clearly are cute but it's hard to see from your pictures the full "canvas", so to speak.  That is, the canvas that the industry would like to paint on with whatever look they are going for in a particular application.

You need to get some real head and body shots.  Find a reputable photographer and get some shots while wearing a two piece swimsuit or underwear: at least four head-on head shots, four side-view profile head shots, four head-on full body shots, and four side view full body shots. Do not wear makeup for your shots, and no drastic or contrasty lighting.  Clean, white or gray background.  Keep it as basic as possible to give an honest idea of what is there to work with.

For each of the above mentioned photo angles, the four shots for each should be: hair pulled back into ponytail while smiling, hair down while smiling, hair in ponytail with serious expression, and hair down with serious expression.

Modeling is funny in that all types of people can get gigs from infants to old farts, and everything in between, depending on what the application is.  Not every model can be on the runway, not every model can be in a magazine ad, not every model can be in a Wal-Mart catalog.  Get some head shots, and post em up, or go to an agency and see what your potential may be for various applications.

You've already said it, but it bears repeating...it's a TOUGH industry to make a living in.  There are a lot of beautiful people out there trying to make it as models, the ones who make it are the ones who work the hardest, have connections, and have lots of very, very good luck.

  5. Hi Kool

The first pic is the best. Why?  Because that is your good side and like most models do, they always look at an angle which is important and that side of your face is the good side. Not the other side nor the other pics.

  6. get a portfolio, send it to agents, wait for the phone to ring

the answer to your question will come if you do that, everything else is just geuss work..........all sorts of looks are needed by different advertisers
