Do I have red ring virus on my xbox360?

Question

When i turn my xbox on the bottom right portion of my xbox turns red and an error message comes up. i looked up red ring virus and it show the whole circle to be red. If only my 1/4 of the circle is red is that red ring or is that just red to indicate there is a problem.

Hardware Failure. look up what error message you get on the webpage

dude first of all its not the 'red ring virus', its called the red ring of death!!!!!!

and try checking if your cables are plugged in right.

No if you get 3 red lights that means you get Hardware failure, So it might be something different

i get it sometimes..its nothing at all dont worry

all you have to do is shut the xbox off then turn it right back on

but...

i just got the red ring of death a few weeks ago..3 red flashing rings..you will be able to use ur xbox at first then after a week or so you cant even turn the xbox on...it sucks

if you do get the red ring of death..call xbox at 1-800-4my-xbox and they will fix it for free

yea i got that before i just shut off my x-box for like 1 hour then it started working again i think cause your x-box 360 is over heating
