Do I have right to claim the UK Citizenship?

I was born in Portsmouth England in 1972. My father was In Turkish Navy and was attending a military course in England. My parents are both Turkish Citizen. I wanna know If I have any right about citizenship because of the birth?

  1. No you can't claim British citizenship. Since both parents are Turkish and you were born in the UK. Since you mention your father was on a training course when you were born doesn't qualified you for British citizenship.


  2. No.  British citizenship is by blood, not be place of birth.  If your parents had been resident in the UK for a certain number of years, then maybe.
