Classes started on Monday and I had to walk across the street in 15 minutes and then back over in 15 minutes for my last class and when I got home my legs were so sore in the front calf/ankle area. Tuesday they were still sore and I had to walk more. Today I had to walk across the street again and they were still sore and are sore when I move my legs a little bit. I have been wearing flip flops since I've been wearing capris to class and I can't wear tennis shoes without socks because my feet sweat :-{. Could these been shin splints or are my legs just overly sore?

  1. Well I have had shin splints before and they hurt really bad. Shin splints will of course be in your shins and if you have them it takes a couple weeks to get better. an excersise that works is stand up do one foot at a time and just keep tapping it. When you feel your shins start to hurt you know it is working just do that everyday when they start to hurt and take it easy.

  2. Yes... Over use will cause it. The best treatment is NSAIDS like naproxen ect.
