I love my little girl, she is 14 weeks old today. She doesn't sleep through the night, in fact she still gets up 2 - 3 times. She drools a lot, and eats her fist, but I don't think she is teething. She kicks her legs and grabs toys when she is playing, but she is not rolling over yet. To me she is your typical happy go lucky baby (well to me she is perfect:) But when I come on here, one would think she is way behind! Everyone's baby sleeps through the night, is teething, and rolling over by 3 weeks! So I want to hear from all you mom's out there who love your 'non advanced' babies! And let others know what your little one is up to:)

  1. lol, this is a funny question.

My son took FOEVER to roll over.  And never sleeps through the night EVER night.  He is 10 months, and will usually sleep 9-10 hours a night.  He did start getting teeth at 4 months. But he didn't crawl on his hands and knees until 8 1/2 months.  He is my little cutie and I don't care if he doesn't meet every milestone.

"My son may be failing highschool, but he crawled at 5 months!"

  2. My daughter didn't roll over til she was 4 months one way, and the other way not til 5 1/2 months. She was sitting up unassisted by 4 months though. And she has gone on and off sleeping through the night since she was born. By 6 weeks, she was sleeping through the night and then after a month she just stopped. Since then, she wakes up some nights and other's she'll sleep through. She's 11 months now and just finally started sleeping again through the night about a week ago.

  3. Every baby is different and you shouldn't compare your child to anyone else's. Your baby is special and like I said every baby is different. Some babies start out slow and catch up fast in later stages.  Don't worry. You have a perfect baby.

  4. i wouldn't worry at all, sounds like your bubs doing just fine. my daughter is three months also, and showing absolutely no sign of rolling over anytime soon. but she is such a little chubba that its going to be a bit of an effort for her when it does happen. I'm not at all worried though I'm sure she'll do it when she's ready. i cant even remember when her brother and sister did it, ill have to hunt their baby books out tomorrow. ive been INCREDIBLY lucky with her with the sleeping through the night, she's slept through since she was a few weeks old. i look at the rolling over in a positive way, the longer she satys laying down the longer it will be before she crawls and walks and the longer i can just enjoy her being a baby.

  5. My son is 5 months and still up 3 times most nights. The rest he is doing though.

I hate hearing about other people with babies sleeping 8-12hrs. When I say mine wakes up 3 times a night, I mean 3 times in 8-9hrs of sleep.

  6. Hey being a mom is scary and every little thing will scare you,  but not all babies are the same my 10 month old did not roll over till about 4 months old and we had to work with her to do that, she was also a little slower about crawling and now is pulling up to her knees but is not coming to her feet.  And my four year old woke up like that till one nite i was so tired I let her cry her self to sleep seems mean, but it worked sometimes they wake up to see if you will come or not so let them know you care but dont run in for every little noise.
