The school my son attends is recommending that I seek a diagnosis of ASD for my son. After extensive research I have decided that a diagnosis will have little benefit on his life and possibly be detrimental. Do I have the right to refuse a diagnosis? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

  1. Why, other than denial, would this be a benefit.  It will entitle your child to a educational windfall of assistance.  Get therapy to accept your child.
