  1. I think that she should use some of the child support money to pay for the school supplies. Isn't that what it's for ?

  2. the words "child support" mean just that, supporting your child whatever his needs are ie: clothes, school stuff, whatever the nneds are. sounds like she's trying to milk your wallet.

  3. I think you have to just pay your child support, or whatever was decided in the court.  If you're paying regularly then she should be able to handle that on her own.  You can't get blood out of a turnip..as they say.  I'd stay with what the court said for you to pay for.

  4. the child support is supposed to be used for things like that. You can't get in trouble for not buying the supplies. She can threaten all she wants .The judge will ask her to show what she is doing with the money if she tries to drag you into court.

  5. It would depend on the child support agreement as agreed upon in court.  If it was just a flat fee to include stuff like school supplies and hair cuts, then you shouldn't have to pay extra unless you want to.  I have seen some child support agreements that are a flat rate, but unexpected or irregular expenses such as medical or clothing or school supplies are separate and split 50-50.  Double-check your last child support order to see what the details are of your agreement are.  If in doubt, I recommend finding an attorney.

  6. Its simple just don't give her more money!!!!

The only thing she can get out of you is child support.  Let her take you back to court for a raise.  If you make less she will get less.

    She sounds greedy.

Your support more than covers him getting a hair cut and school supplies.
