Do I have to added to my parents insurance policy..?

if I only drive their car a few times a month? I live in CA and my parents have 21st century insurance.

if you live in their home and have a license then yes you do.  have them add you and rate you as an occasional driver.  this will help keep the premium lower.

Yes, if you want to drive the car. If you get into an accident and not covered your parents can be sued for damages. I believe in CA its the law before you get behind the wheel of a car.
