Do I have to be homeschooled in order to become an actress?

I am planning on starting to audition for small roles on TV shows and movies. But I was wondering, do you have to be homeschooled in order to do that?

  1. absolutely not. unless you're on broadway or in the middle of a big movie, then most actors/actresses in their teens go to public school, so no worries, you'll be fine.


  2. No of course not, if anything it is better to go to a normal school, there you can get more confidence and experience getting involved in plays.

  3. No, unless you're in the middle of filming, most child and teen actresses go to school.

  6. No, you don't.  Being able to get in front of more people to get used to it would help and you wouldnt be able to get that from home school.

  7. Absolutely not! There is no correlation between homeschooling and acting ability.

  8. Not when you first start. You could still go to public school. But it would be much easier to home school.

  9. no i guess not.  i wouldnt see why it would matter.  it wouldnt hurt to have a little experience at a theater in the town you live in but otherwise probably not

  10. No, most actresses are because it's a lot of hard work going to school, and having to keep up your grades you have to have at least a 3.0 to be in acting or most places won't take you, so you can still go to school, but if you get into serious work you might find it hard to keep up.  



  11. Nope, but it may make things a lot easier..

    I wouldn't suggest giving up school unless you had some major work offered to you, but in that case, the production company would need to provide you with appropriate means for education.
