Do I have to declare the interest from my Tax free cash ISAs as part of my income for Tax purposes?

  1. No you do not!! ISAs are tax free and therefore, do not need to be declared as part of your total income. That's why they are tax free!! :o)

  3. No. ISA's are tax-free and therefore any interest received on them does not need to go on your tax return.

  4. Absolutley not.  The point of an ISA is that your interest is non-taxable. and for the pitiful amount you are allowed to invest year on year, so it should be.

    Check with your ISA provider or with Customs and Revenue Helpline, but I am sure you don't declare it.  I certainly don't!!!

  6. No. HMRC just do not want to know! Likewise you don't have to declare Savings Certificate interest. These investments also do not affect any entitlement to Personal age Allowance for the over 65s.
