  1. like the first answers said: NO

but if you make one, it is more respect!!!

  2. http://qa.sunnipath.com/issue_view.asp?H... seems to indicate that wudu is not required before handling a translation of the Qur'an. It never hurts, though, as a sign of respect, to make wudu before handling the Qur'an.

  3. Yh man iz a Quran, even if its in English, iz still got the words of Allah in it, duh.

  4. Thank you for asking this question! I had the same exact one. I was about to email an Imam for the answer. I might have to because now bc everyone's answer here has now left me confused! :( To make wudu or not???

  7. Is it Arabic that is holy or the Book?

Do you know that in Muslim countries that donot speak Arabic, an Arab guy could go up to a person, curse if he likes, and that the receiver wouldn't know the difference between those words or the words of the holy book?

I support reading all religious texts in one's own language. Or you get elderly ladies crying to the verses that define the qualifications of the cow that can be sacrificed.

  8. If the whole book is in English, then you wont have to. Its only required when 2/3 of the whole book is in Arabic.
