Do I have to get a new head unit?

If i'm redoing my car stereo system, as in new speakers &subs &all, would I haaaaaave to get a new head unit or will it all essentially be the same /work ok with just the stock radio?

  1. Get a new one ... 4V preouts ... 3 sets of them ... built-in crossovers.

    You can't go wrong with Pioneer Premier. It is worth it to have the equalizers and crossovers built into the head unit.


  2. get a new aftermarket stereo..it will sound a lot better in clarity and loudness

  3. To answer your question you dont have to because you can use an line converter but i would realy suggest upgrading to an a quality aftermarket unit.

  4. you dont have to they make an rca converter so you can use your factory radio but it would sound kinda S****y id just spend alittle extra for the aftermarket radio
