Just wondering if the recruiter will make me cut it before BCT if I sign for DEP.

  1. On the day you report for basic training you go to an inprocessing center. you get your uniforms, shots, and your head shaved. Then you go to your training units.

  2. More than likely, yes.  But maybe he won't make you shave it.

  3. No, you don't have to get it cut until the day you show up at basic.

  4. No you don't have to cut your hair...only in basic do you have to get your hair cut

  5. After enlisting I automatically got put into RSP one weekend a month until I ship to basic, I had to get a haircut, my sideburns couldn't be past my earlobe, and no hair could be touching my ears. I enlisted in the National Guard. So it might be different in other branches

  6. you dont have to do anything, you could go in with your hair in a ponytail if you want.... they'll shave your hair  the day you get to bootcamp

  7. DEP is automatic if you enlisted, you do not have to have a haircut *one guy in our group had a mohawk* But i think you mean basic training and not BCT, Basic training comes before, but no they cut your hair while your there in the beginning stages
