I told the att rep I do not have phone service,I only have internet vonage phone service which is voip, and she still said it would work....how is this possible?I think she doesn't know what she was talking about. She said as long as one of the phone jacks works, it would be fine.Theres one thing if it works, and another if it's actually connected. They are not connected.....

  1. i am surprised the att rep didn't try to sell you dish network or att phone services like they did to me

  2. when you hook up to dsl your normal phone line is reconfigured for data service (internet) and voice for phone, so in a sense you have 2 lines datat and voice they run the dsl throughyour datat line not your voice line voice is only for calls dtata only for internet access ect

  3. no, you can get a dry (naked) DSL line like from AT&T!!

  4. No , since u use a voip phone which probably uses a dsl line to transmit voice packets you are good to go
