There's an opportunity for me to study Italian over the summer in Perugia but my GPA isn't all that .. do you think it'd be necessary to have a certain GPA (3.0 or higher or whatever) to go?

  1. it depends on the program, if its a school offered program they tend to care, unless its a summer program then its all about money...

  2. dpeending on your school, yes, they need some ways to filter out students, and make sure the school is to be represented as best as possible...GPA, essays, etc. are the usual filters

  3. you should talk to your advisor.

  4. 4.1

  5. Every school is different, but at bare min you should be in good academic standing (c average or better). I would go talk to your schools center for studying abroad.

  6. It depends on the program, they should have their GPA requirements listed. Most that I know of it's either 3.0 or higher, sometimes you can get away with a 2.75.

  7. Probably. Good luck and God Bless.

  8. ask your school... they usually have a GPA requirement for that
