  2. If you are selling or serving beer, wine, liquor... Certainly you do... YES!

    You will be in big trouble really fast if you do not...  And I mean bigger than your boat - fines, forfeiture of your vessel, etc.  These people don't mess around.. and they will not accept ignorance as an excuse.

    A charter boat registered in Florida must follow the Florida laws... and Florida has several different types of licenses... ie: 1 COP, 2 COP, 4 COP etc... meaning whether or not you want to sell beer, beer & wine, are the whole range of beverages, and whether or not you are serving food are not - also is a consideration...  

    On Charter vessels, some of these licenses are restricted based on the size of your vessel...  ie: I do not believe you can get a license for selling or serving more than beer or wine unless your vessel is big enough for 125 people... (but that may have changed.)

    Florida has consumption-on-premise license, and some of these are quota licenses (only a limited in number throughout the state).
