I am a Filipino Citizen, I have traveled to the U.S. a few times already in the past decade, and every time I did, I had a connecting flight in Japan but I can only wait inside the airport for 4 hours. What am I supposed to do if i wanted to stay in Japan for about 3 days before going straight to my final destination in Seattle?

  1. You will need a tourist visa as well as landing permission to enter the country outside of the airport.

The visa itself does NOT guarantee permission to enter.

Contact the Embassy of Japan in Manila.
