I am purchasing a mobile home in New Hampshire. I am due to close on Aug. 29th. I won't be moving in until October 1st. The mobile home park is a Co-Op. Do I have to pay the Co-Op fee for the month of September, even though I won't be living there? Is there a legal precedent? If so, please site the legality so I can use it to my benefit. Thanks.

  1. You have to pay it.  Living there or not it it is your lot and your responsibility.

  2. As of August 29, you will own the home and be liable for all expenses incurred.  You may even have to pay a pro-rated amount of the rent fee for the few days in August you own the home.  Considering the home is using the space, this is only right.
