1. if your bid was accepted and you were notified by email that you were the highest bidder, and to receive your item, you must pay shipping and handling.

  2. NO yelling I promise , even if your bid was 1 cent and the shipping is $500.00 and you bid you pay. If not they put strikes against you and if you have enough of them eventually they kick you out that takes a while

don't worry we have all made newbie errors like that

  3. Yes, you do unfortunately.

If you look under the box where you can place the bid it will tell you shipping costs.

  4. Yes, Cindy, you do have to pay shipping. The bid that you make is the price that you pay for the item. The shipping cost is what they charge to package and send it to you. Since you are new to ebay, I will tell you this: Carefully read ALL the information about an item BEFORE you bid. Millions of people offer items on Ebay, and each one of them can make up their own set of rules, such as the policy for returns, how much they charge for shipping, and whether or not you are required to pay extra for insurance. Once you bid, you have entered into a legally binding contract to buy the item if you have the highest bid. If you don't follow through and pay for the item, you will receive negative feedback on your account, and many of the sellers will not do business with you. If you have the winning bid, you will receive an email telling you the total of what you owe, and how long you have to send the payment. Most sellers accept PayPal. Some also accept other credit cards or money orders. This information is listed after the description of the item.

  5. It says shipping is 12.99. If there is no charge for shipping and item on the display picture will be a small circle that says free shipping, in my experience with eBay if the auction starts off at a penny or two the shipping is through the roof to compensate for the low auction price. Hope this helps!
