  1. Who is the father of the child?  Are you adopting the child?  I really don't understand what you are talking about.  Sorry.

  2. You need to provide more information.

  3. What are you talking about......what the h**l is 'maintenance'?

  4. No, the child's father still pays maintenance on his child unless you choose to adopt the child.  Until then, the kid's still his to support.

  5. You're asking if when you become a step parent will you have to provide for your step children?

    no...

but you should or your just an a**

  6. Find  a partner who doesn't have a child and then you wont have to pay for maintenance .. U aint ready for commitment and you know that..  dont ruin others life too.. back off !!!

  7. No, you have no legal obligation to pay child maintenance to your partners child.

  8. Since you refer to it as maintenance (rather than the US term alimony) I assume you are in Australia or the UK. The simple answer is not unless you adopt them... as child support only pertains to natural or adopted kids. Hope this helps.. and I hope you have a lovely wedding :-)

If you are in Aust, more info can be found at http://www.legalaid.vic.gov.au/childsupp...

  9. I am in the United states. I am not sure were you are. I think you are talking about what we call as child support. and if you are then to answer your question, the man I am marrying has kids from a previous relationship. He pays child support on them. and yes when I marry him the money I make working will be figured into how much a month he has to pay out in child support. If you meant something different, then I am sorry for wasting your time. you can email me from my profile page and I can try to help you more if you need it.

  10. you become one. its now "ours" the child is part of the family. You should love just as you love your partner.
