Do I have to pay more to get a blackberry from verizon? Like a whole new plan?

Ok so i have a crazer but i really want a blackberry. there is one that i can get for cheap but i need these answers tonight. ok so can i keep the same plan or do i have to get a whole new one?? please help!!!

If it isn't your time to upgrade you will have to pay full price for the blackberry to add it to your current plan. Or you can purchase it on ebay or something for less than retail then go to the retail store to have your number transfered from your Kr8zr to the blackberry.

most cell phone plans allow you to upgrade at  a lower price after a specific amount of time, for example i have t mobile and i can upgrade my phone for a very low price after 2 years. if i want to upgrade before the 2 years i have to pay the full price or just get a very little discount. verizon most likely has the same thing, and you might end up extending your contract if you upgrade your phone. you should call a verizon store and ask what their policy is

but i love blackberries so i would do it =]

You can keep your plan but they will charge an additional $30/ mo. for internet access since they apparently do not work without it.
