  1. It depends.

If you plan on traveling regularly to Canada, you should pay them.  Eventually, unpaid parking tickets could lead to your license plate being on a list of cars they watch for at the border, and certain border states may even give your name/license info to the Toronto police.

If you aren't going back to Canada, then there isn't much they can do to enforce the ticket.

  2. yes

  3. Yes.

  4. not if you're not planning on going back there,

but if you are you really should pay them as they will arrest you for it if they see you.

  5. If you don't want to go to jail...

  6. Pay the tickets. It is not a question of "do I have too" it is a question of "I broke the law and I face the consequences of my actions".

  7. Pay them... next time you cross the border, they will know that you haven't then there will be a bigger fine and/or court.

  8. Another Amerikkkan coming to my country, breaking the law and trying to weasel out of it. But when the totalitarian U.S. government tried to draft all of you, where did you run. Is it any wonder you are hated around the globe. I smell a violation notice.

  9. When Canadians come to the US and break our laws....we expect them to be held responsible for that.

So why do you think you are so special that you don't have to follow Canadian law when you are there?

    Pay the tickets.
