Do I have to queue in the same line as everybody for entering the Colosseum (Rome) if I've the Roma Pass card?

  3. Yes because you still have to get the ticket. The Roma pass is just a card you can use for 1 free museum entry - however read your little booklet as I think with the Colosseum you also have to buy the entry ticket for the Palentine which means you may get one for free but have to pay for the other one. There is a webstie too if you look on the book which will explain it all.

  4. with the roma pass card you have free access to the first two museums/archaeological areas you visit and you should have a direct access w/o going to the ticket office. if the colosseum (now a single ticket for colosseum, roman forum and palatine) is your first site, you should be able to enter directly. at the colosseum, anyway, there is always a queue as you have to go through security. my suggestion is that you get there asa it opens.

    if you are in italy between march 25th and 31st all the museums/archaeological sites (except for the vatican in rome and maybe a few other that are private) will be open for free for the culture week.
