Do I have to replace the filters for my pool?

One of the Easy Set pools, the one with the metal pipes around the sides takes filter cartridge A. I was wondering if I could clean the paper filter? If so how? Or do I have to bite the bullet and keep replacing them?

You  can  do  some  rinse ,  and  bleach  things  but  

Ultimately ,   all  paper  filters  ( pool  ,  car ,  home  HVAC )

Need  to  be  replaced   eventually .

Although  probably  not  quite  as  often  as  manufactures would  like  you  to .

You should  be fine for about 3 to 5 years with your filters, depending on how well you maintain your water chemistry. Clean them when you have a10 psi increase from clean to dirty on your filter.

To clean them, just hose them off with water. Be sure all of the large debris is off and at least once a year, soak the cartridge in a cleaning solution (see your local pool store) to aid in removing some of the buildup.
