Do I have to say uno if my last 3 cards are the same and I put them down at the same time?

Question

I was playing tonight, and it was my turn and my last 3 cards were all were 9's (red9, blue9,green9) I put them all down at the same time and one person insisted I didn't win because I didn't say uno! I had no cards left to say uno. He said I was supposed to put them down seperat and say uno before my last 9. I said I won!! he insisted I didn't. They continued the game and when the next person one, I said good job you're second and he said, no your not your first! and said I lost because I didn't say uno! What do you think? did I win? or not? How would I have said uno with zero cards? uno means one. Thanks for your help in advance.

you cant play more then one card a turn.

and you can only say uno if you have one card remaining.

and if you dont say it then the move doesnt count.

you dont say uno with 3 cards left but even if all three are the same number you can't put them all down at once.  you have to use 3 separate turns and say uno when you are down to one card. also if no body notices you didnt say uno before the next person plays there card then you are off the hook.

OMG>>>>>this is the perfect question ...I love uno.You can only lay 1 card per turn . Say you have 2 cards in your hand you can lay 1 down on your turn ,that leaves you with 1 card........that's when you say         " UNO"

well it depends because when i play uno, in the beginning of the game you have to say stacksies if you want to be able to stack.

stacking is when you put down more than one card at once.

if you dont call that then you can only put down one card at a time.

and once you put your card down, its the next person's turn.

then u have to put down ur next card on ur next turn.
