Do I have to take my Driving theory test again if I fail the Car drivin practical test when the date expires ?

If I fail the practical car driving test on the 7th August 2008, and the driving theory test taken expires in the month of September 2008. Do I have to take the written theory test again?

'fraid so.  I you fail and are unable to retake the test before your theory expires you have to take, and pass, both the theory and hazard perception again before you can book another driving test.  The theory test has now gone up to 50 questions and you have to get 43 correct.  Suggest you get lots of practice between now and then so you pass your driving test first time.     To see what your state has to say about it, go to their web site.

    To find any states web site, google the name of the state and DMV; for California google either "CA DMV" or "Calif DMV" or "California DMV". It will be one of the first three hits.

    The 'dmv.org' hit that shows up is also very good.
