Do I have to throw out my facewash?

Question

It's called Oxy Anticeptic face wash. Apparently it contains "Triclosan" as an active ingredient. I've heard however, that this contains chemicals that can stop your reproductive system and cause cancer. Is this true?

I'd rather throw away $5 than use something toxic.

reports have suggested that when mixed with the chlorine found in water it can cause those things.

But this antibacterial agent is used in tons of soaps and toothpastes and other cleaning products.

It is up to you if you feel safe using the product. It is not off the market and there are no definitive answers.

Its just a rumour. I dont believe it at all and dont listen to these idiots
