  1. No. Office 2003 is not an operating system it is an office software program which programs such as word and powerpoint. You need windows xp pro install on the computer, to install office 2003.


  2. Windows & Office are different products, designed to work together, so therefore, you don't have to un-install any version of Windows to use any version of Office.

    In saying that, however, you may need to upgrade Windows in some cases (In yours, you don't)

    Also, you need Windows (Or mac if you use the mac version) to run Office

  3. no,u don't need to uninstall your windows Xp in order to use office 2003 because it is only a software instead of operating system like xp and vista.u can simply insert the disc to dvd drive and autoplay/click on the installer button......
