Do I have to use my CVS gift card at CVS or could I use it anywhere?

There's $50 on it and they won't give me the money in cash. They save I have to use the card. Would I be able to use the gift card at any store or does it have to be CVS? Sources?

If it has a visa or any major credit card logo on it then you can use it anywhere you want, but if not you have to use it at CVS

Must be used at CVS.  The person who purchased the gift card already gave CVS the fifty dollars.  So in effect what you have is a 50.00 credit with CVS not cash.

it is a CVS giftcard, it is meaningless to any other store, best bet is to use it to buy a giftcard to another store cause they have tons or just use it to buy a 50 dollar AMEX card from them :)
