I hate to focus attention on myself like this, but I'm curious to the question of my ethnic origins. On my dads side I am of possible Germanic origins, and on my moms side I am of Polish and Russian Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry. I don't see very much if any semitic features in my family, instead, mainly eastern European genetic influence. I know these sorts of questions can seem superficial, but we often wish to know who we are and build that identity... Any ideas of me and my family's ethnic ancestry? Polish? Russian? Other possible various Slavic ancestry? Semetic? German?
