i wouldn't say better as much as it looks just as good. i like both styles. for things to do with your hair, i would say just mess around with some gel, see what it looks like spiked or messy looking. it's all up to you. i think a lot of the reason that you are unsure of it is because it's different, it will take some time getting used to.

i really liked your hair before, but the way to make your hair just as good, is to spike it with a little gel. you're really cute, so you should spike it.

i love people with shaggy hair, but short is always a good change, too.
