Do I look hot????? Are these people stupid?

Well, personally, I don't even know why people ask these questions on YA!, I mean, that is it to be judged by geeks sitting at a computer?

Does it prove something for the person?

Is there a drive, a necessity of thought, that you have to be praised by people you've never met?

Why is it that people turn to places where people are only wanting points, and getting thumbs down for answers as "YOU DONT LOKS GUD!"

Is it just arrogance, human nature? looking at yourself in the mirror, and showing that image to others that will say their best to please you and get a BA.

WHY?

This is not normal in society, is it? I don't see people running around in the streets yelling "HOW DO I LOOK???"

It's due to inescurity I think, either that or they may be curious to how they look. Boredom is another consideration.

Though it could also be to see how the rest of society percieves them, the internet is a way of getting someone's opinion without having to ask someone in person because they don't like to ask people in person these things.

Wow! look at your question then ask your self.Am I one of those geeks.See the irorny?People come here because its their way to comunicate reguardless of security.If your reading those kind of questions then your spending to much time talking to a minor and you need to be reported as a predator.

Not so much stupid as insecure.  They need other people's approval to feel good about themselves.  Quite sad actually.
