Do I need Wii Points to get more wii channels ?

Hey guys , i want to know if we need wii points to get more wii channels from the wii shop ..

please tell me

All but the internet channels are free, of course VC and wiiware games will cost money, but the Nintendo channel, check mii out channel and the voting channel those are all free.

It depends. The free channels include Check Mii Out, Nintendo, and Everybody Votes. You have to pay 500 points for the Internet channel.

The VC and Wiiware games range in price from 500 points to 1500 points.
