  1. Yes, you will need to have a tourist visa from Mexico. If you are passing the border by land you can get at the border. If you are going to fly it is best to get from the Mexican Consulate closest to you. Be sure to leave some time if you need to use the Consulate, they are notoriously slow. And remember to travel with your green card or they will not let you back into the States at the end of your trip. Enjoy

Yes you need a visa.  You have to go to the Mexican Embassy or Consulate of your city to apply in person for your visa.  Having a Green Card does nothing for Mexico.  You will need to take your passport and Green Card to Mexico.  Just because you need your Green Card for your return to the States.

    you need to apply for a tourist visa.

    Required Mexico visa supporting documents for citizens of Indonesia:

    - Fill out the Visa Application form, available at the Consulate.

    - Apply at the Consulate in person.

    - Valid passport in original and one photocopy of the pages containing personal information, photograph of bearer and expiration/extensions date.

    - Original round trip tickets or confirmation letter of reservation and one photocopy.

    and for Mexico tourist visa:

    - Proof of sufficient funds (i.e.: bank statements, pay stubs, etc.) and one photocopy.
