Do I need a Temporary Res Visa to study in Canada for less than six months?

I am a US citizen and know I don't need a study permit, will I require anything except passport for living there for a semester?

  1. Why do you think you don't need a Canadian study permit? Will you be enrolled full time? If so, I believe you DO need a study permit. U.S. citizens do NOT need a Visa - just the study permit (which you can apply for and obtain at the border if you have the appropriate financial documentation). If you're driving, you'll need your license and birth certificate (passports are required after June of '09). If you're flying, you'll need your passport. The website below might help you.
