Do I need a bachelor's degree to become a writer?

not just a writer but...you know write scripts for movies. I want to stay at community college and get an associates degree. Do I need a bachelors degree to be a writer?

    You might want to find a writer;s group in your area to give you suggestions on how to improve your writing and support you in your efforts.

  2. You don't need a degree, but if you have no experience a degree is good way to gain some.  Also, unless you are thoroughly familiar with the formatting/precepts of script writing, it's a good idea to at least take a few classes.

  3. wrong question to ask. try this ,instead will i be discovered? you "ARE" a writer, keep on keeping on !and if you are suucessfull , well, if not . you keep on writing cause that is what you are about. . . . like all walks in this life,do not let some so called " teacher : you are good or not ,write,write and write on and on and on . . .read/see you on that screen of your dreams.o.k. ? there you go
