I am considering looking for a job in New Jersey, becuase its been really difficult finding one in New York City.(I just graduated college in May, and am looking for my first out of school job). The things is, I dont drive due to anxiety issues and not enough money to consider buying a car. Is it possible to live in New Jersey without driving and jsut using New Jersey Transit, like it would be in Manhattan with their metro system?

  1. I dont think is necessary to have a car in New Jersey

New jersey transit seems  the state pretty well covered and they also have

a trip planner to help you get around

  2. Having driven in N.J. many times I would say there are way to many cars in the state and you could help by not having one. I wish more people were like you and take a vow not to purchase a car. I thank you.

  3. No, you don't need a car. NJ Transit is a large and expansive system with a variety of bus and rail services that could surely get you where you need to go.
