Do I need a converter box? Does this tv have a digital tuner? Polaroid Model TTM-2401?

Please help. I think it has an analog tuner. So I need a converter box? I am on cable no antenna.

If you are using cable, you do NOT need a converter box. The FCC mandates that cable proivders must send you an analog signal either direct out of the wall or from their cable box until at least 2012.

1. This is an analog TV set.  You would need a converter box if you chose to watch digital broadcasts over the air with an antenna.

2. If you have cable, you do not need a converter.  However, your cable company may start moving channels to digital cable, in which case you would need to get their cable box.
