I'll be in Europe all next month (England, France, Spain, Holland, Italy, Belguim and switzerland) and the only electronics I'm taking are my ipod and my camera. I have a charger for my ipod and for my camera's lithium ion battery. My ipod charger says Input: AC 100-240V 50-60hz output 5V

and my Camera battery charger says input: AC 100-240V 50/60hz 80mA Output: DC 4.2V 600mA.

I found a travel adapter on Amazon but i don't know if that's what I need. here's the link

  1. Yes that travel adapter looks like it would work for you.  Have a great trip!

  2. you will need a great Britain plug (three squared off prongs) and a European plug (two rounded prongs).  Check with you local luggage store the sales person there should be able to help you out.  You only need plug adapters because they can take the 220 voltage the rest of the world use.  Most voltage converters are not intended for long term use, ie bathroom use.  They converter the power down from 220 to 110 and dissipate the missing voltage out into the environment through heat.  they will get hot very fast and run the potential of cooking themselves because they don't have fans and were not intended for anything other than blow drying your hair, shaving, curling irons and the such.
