    except for when u apply to work as a volunteer , as i found a couple of english-speakers workin for translink or apollo centres  without a degree

  2. Yes you do need a degree or some sort of certification in order to TEACH in school. Unless you do some PRIVATE tutor :) eheheh... I know a couple guyz, who are frm Chicago n teach in VN right now..

  4. No, you can wing it merely having a certificate, but if you want to secure a "serious" and stable job (and work permit), you are most likely to need at least an undergrad degree.

  5. YES.  Most 3rd world countries require a degree in whatever it is you are offering to do for them.

  6. I guess this is not compulsory. I know of at least two institutes where the only requirement for teaching is...speaking good English. Maybe they give you some training courses there.
