Do I need a different precription from clear contact lenses to coloured contact lenses?

I've previously had coloured contacts yrs ago, but got them through Specsavers (was well expensive!!) but now I want to buy them online as they're so much cheaper these days!! I know a lot of websites don't send to you unless you have a current prescription for that specific type of lenses ie coloured, dailies, monthly etc but that's a chance I'm willing to take as I have a precription at the mo with Specsavers for monthlies. Anyway my question is will my precription for coloured lenses be different than my normal one for clear monthlies? Thanks in advance guys!

  1. The prescription for clear ones is the same for colored ones. The script has to be less than a year old or they wont take it. If it is more than a year old the script is invalid and no one will fill it.
