Question:

Do I need a digital tv converter box if my TVs only have NTSC-M tuners, not ATSC tuners or cable boxes?

The TVs in my house are wired up with standard RG6 cable, they don't have cable boxes connected to them. I get my TV through the local cable tv provider, not from wireless signals or satellite.

I looked in the manuals and they only have NTSC-M television systems.

Any help?

  1. You only need a digital converter box if you're going to be receiving signals from local stations with an antenna.  You don't need a converter box for any cable or satellite service.
