Do I need a drivers licence to buya firearm in Washington state?

I want to buy a rifle in Washington state but do I need a valid drivers licence for the background check or can I use a passport or other ID?

You need to prove that you are a resident and be able to provide proof of your address

It doesn't have to be a DL but some sort of state ID would be much better than a passport and electric bill
