No you don't. Windows firewall works great. You do need an anti-virus program though.

Yes,  If you want I better firewall The windows XP have a good firewall, but window XP's firewall will not protect you from major virus online.  You can buy a good firewall or you can have a free Virus Protection Software.  A good firewall is Windows Live onecare.  To see a demo of the program it is at http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/d...  Its $50 per year.
